Challenge

Offshore installation operations are exposed to waves, currents and vessel motions. These disturbances make load control more difficult and increase operational complexity.

Objective

Investigate a stabilization solution capable of reducing unwanted motion and supporting the controlled installation of subsea equipment.

Approach

The project combines requirements definition, dynamic modeling, mechanical and control architecture, experimental model development and laboratory testing.

Intended outcome

Produce technical evidence on the concept's behavior and support engineering decisions for its continued development.
